Flø  has traditionaly been a village where fishing and farming was the way of life. And the sea hammering the beaches of Flø is rich on various kinds of fish. Cod, salmon, flatfish, macrell and many more.

There are different types of boats for rent in sizes from 13 to 18 feet. But you can just as well fish from the beach or from the wavebreakers. We recommend that you have your own fishing equipment. Either bring it, or you can buy it in one of the sports- and/or equipment stores in Ulsteinvik. In case of «fishing emergencies» we keep some for loan in the reception.        

We have built a fishrinsingbench with running water where you can prepare the fish. It is located by the restroom building. Each cabin has a deepfreezer where you can keep the fish fresh. It is possible to freeze the fish in the reception too (for campers and tenters). New restrictions from the Norwegian government makes it illegal too fish more than 15kg (filet).        

Hanging over the Holiday Centre harbour you will find our open air barbeque with tables and benches. Feel free to use it. A perfect place to share your catch with friends and family, a nice bright summer evening.
